“The idea for this series came from my friend Jerome Gonfond, an artistic director. This is the first collaboration I have done with Christian Louboutin that is not a still life and includes people. This may be the most-blogged series we have done together. It won various awards in England, France and the United States. I was greatly helped during the shoot by a wonderful team including Annie Bodin, who coordinated the objects, Jean Pierre Canavate who did the hair and makeup, Olivier Dupperin who found the models and Catherine Gorne who provided the costumes.”
