"This was created for a Seattle International Film Festival poster with the title 'Everything you're about to see is true.' I used a 4 x 5 with a slow shutter speed, shaking the camera to get a bit of blur in the image and the catch light, trying to create a sense of foreboding, like a kid who wants to watch but doesn't dare. I then printed the photograph, tore it, bent it, scratched it and taped it. It was fun getting so physically involved with the work. Sean Onert of Cole & Weber put the pieces together digitally."
