“Bakery café company Cinnzeo, famous for its cinnamon rolls, had gained tremendous relevancy in the ’80s with an aging audience, but it wasn’t attracting new customers to the brand. We went all in on excitement with a series of playful but wholesome headlines; a dialed-up, doughy yellow; a warm cinnamon hue; and a custom typeface. The warm tones cue hunger and signal sweetness, the rounded lettering signals a soft mouthfeel, and the pattern has just a little bit of edge to cue the spiciness of cinnamon.”
