"I ask each artist to write a bit about the image they are holding on the bottom of the Polaroid. Timothy wrote, "This meant so much to me. He was a legend. He was my hero. To have the opportunity to work with him was a dream come true. When I got there, I couldn't find him. He was in the bar with three empty martini glasses in front of him. He said, 'Hi, let's go to work.' I found out later that he worked like that on movie sets. Up all night partying, then right to the set in the morning. The crew he partied with, were dragging all day. But Mitchum would be at his best. My kind of guy.""
