"Smartphones and tablets control the installation-game OctoCloud, in which players manipulate a virtual slingshot to launch circles that dart across a sculpture’s glowing angled surface, much like pinballs, on a journey to the sculpture’s center. Up to eight players can collaborate to reach the common goal, and their moves trigger a visual performance on the sculpture. The physical sculpture influence the physics of the virtual projected layer: Each player's shot rides up and down the angles, accelerating and slowing down in response to the sculpture's shape. After a number of shots reach the center, an animated performance reveals a new background texture."
