Funky Forest is an interactive ecosystem where children create trees with their bodies and then use physical logs to divert water flowing from
a waterfall to their trees to keep them alive. The health of the trees contributes to both the overall health of the forest and that of the creatures inhabiting it. Funky Forest is a collaborative space, where children can explore and experiment, set their own objectives, and create their own stories. We rst installed Funky Forest at the 2007 Cinekid Festival in Amsterdam; in 2010, we developed a new version for the Art Garden exhibition at the Singapore Art Museum.
