Designing the Penguin Classics and related backlist material has to be one of the more satisfying aspects of my job. There is no author approval needed—they are usually deceased. They are guaranteed to be great reads and enjoyable to design. Often we celebrate the anniversary of this or that, and the release of these six books coincided with the centennial anniversary of Graham Greene's birth. I worked with illustrator Brian Cronin on these covers. 5 3/4 x 8 1/2.
