Quarantine Tales. “I tried to document my daily experiences according to the spirit of the Fluxus art movement. My subject was the three horrible years that everyone suffered through, along with the Decameron, the classic novel by Giovanni Boccaccio containing 100 stories on the Black Plague in medieval Europe. I created two characters—Elissa in the 14th century and Panfilo in 2020—and used them to weave a dual-timeline narrative.”
