"I am one of the several artists contributing artwork exploring Milan's identity and its historical and global role for an exhibition at EXPO Milano 2015. This particular illustration refers to the close relationship between modern and ancient architecture. In the foreground we see a skyscraper's windows—Torre Unicredit 2011, the tallest skyscraper in Italy—which reflect the image of another building, the Torre Velasca, one of the first skyscrapers built in Italy, in 1958, and one of the most important and recognizable landmarks in Milan."
