HUSH, project design and development
“Each year, we do self-initiated internal projects that tie art, technology and architecture in a way we haven’t done before, using techniques and materials we’d like to experiment with. At the beginning of the year, we wanted to create a unique experience that can help anyone focus, dream and set their intentions for the year ahead. We wanted to create a space for meditation and contemplation of a positive future. We named it VOLO. Designed and fabricated physical wishing wells were brought to life using augmented reality technology. The wishing wells contain an infinite stream of digital wishes with geotags from all over the world, which demonstrate the hope and positivity of global participants. The experience was hosted in an excavated studio space in a large, creative commercial building in the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn.”
