Duration: I've been shooting full-time for about four-and-a-half years.
Staff: Me, my wife, who does a lot of my production, and a rotating team of assistants.
Education: A BA from Georgetown University and several years of assisting a wide range of photographers in every genre.
Cultural Influences: Growing up in a family of seven kids in a small, socially-divided town on the Chesapeake Bay; four awkward years of high school; renting and watching three movies a day every summer break between 1991 and 1996; Stanley Kubrick, Janusz Kaminski and Roger Deakins; not wanting to be the third lawyer in my family.
Environment: Anywhere that finds people interacting in spaces, but I tend to gravitate towards suburbia and small towns.
Philosophy: Life is better with cake.
