Background: Packaging design and brand strategy for a young whisky named Grizzly, aimed at those who love adventures, nature and good whisky. Mainly distributed in Russia, then the United States.
Design thinking: We got inspired by the true story of a botanist and explorer rescued by a grizzly bear. This whisky pays homage to every aspect of the adventure, making a canteen into a precious bottle that holds a unique spirit: the Spirit of the Grizzly.
Challenges: Building a modern identity with vintage feelings. Translating the very interesting storytelling into an eye-catching packaging design.
Favorite details: The high-impact key visuals. The brand identity looks bold and fresh but also has an interesting story behind it.
Visual influences: Old newspapers, old canteens and the Wild West.
Specific project demands: Honestly, we just received the name from the client and found it very interesting to play with. So, we would say that the name was the big trigger idea.
