“Louis Vuitton was releasing a new collaborative collection with the legendary New York City punk artist Stephen Sprouse and asked me to direct a fashion film that felt true to Sprouse’s universe. It was a match made in heaven for me, being a fan of his work, but also because I’ve always aspired to push a gritty pop aesthetic with my own practice. The idea was to create a virtual runway where the model literally struts through Sprouse’s designs with a New York City attitude. The client let me run with it!”
