“Our pug, Stella, always seems to find a way to sneak into my projects, both personal and commissioned. She’s my little muse. This image was made on a whim, while I was shooting product work at home. A friend stopped by and, in passing, let me know it was National Pug Day. We quickly guided Stella onto the orange paper, and she started doing what she does best. I then combined my favorite poses into a Stella montage. Since posting this image in 2015, it has been licensed for use in many advertisements, including being an official wallpaper for Google Pixel.”
