University of Georgia graphic design students were asked to create the identity for TYPECON, the annual conference of the Society of Typographic Aficionados. The aim was to reflect the heritage of the host city (Milwaukee) while also paying tribute to the nearby Hamilton Woodtype Museum. The design concept focused on the juxtaposition of old/new reflected in both the city's industrial past as well as in wood type printing. Typeface: Receiver.
