“We’ve been working with Skirl Records, a Brooklyn-based independent music label, since 2007. Skirl holds a special place in our hearts since its album covers serve as an experimental playground where we can try new design approaches. At the very beginning, we established a Skirl-specic format that we then applied to all its future releases: a DVD-sized Digipak with a print area limited to the dimensions of a regular CD jewel case in the center of the packaging, resulting in the now Skirl-typical white band on top and bottom.”
