A recent promotional mailer project for Scott Witter Photography offered an opportunity for creative collaboration between photographer Scott and his art director wife Vanessa. To stand out from the piles of mail that art buyers and photo editors receive on a daily basis, the duo decided to do something a little different: Instead of using full-color photos, they used Scott’s images in a more pop-art/band poster style. They did a limited run of 15” x 20” screen-printed posters and gave them a “collector’s item” feel by signing and numbering them. Keeping the packaging a little raw and handmade gave it an extra personal touch.
