Location: New York, New York, and Paris, France.

Education: MFA in graphic design and art direction from the École supérieure d’arts graphiques Penninghen in Paris, France.

Creative inspiration: The artist Miranda July. She doesn’t put boundaries on her art; she’s a contemporary artist, performer, filmmaker, writer and an app developer—and she’s funny! She’s exactly what artists must be today: someone who can use the right tools and observe and adapt to our world as fast as we live in it. These make her a great creative entrepreneur.

Cultural influences: I love reflecting on and questioning past and future design thinking—especially now that contemporary experimentation has combined with traditional craft. I’m also influenced by minimalism, but I have no set technique for my approach; I always try to experiment. 

Work environment: I’m from Paris but am now based in New York City—as of two weeks ago! So I’m always moving around from coworking space to coffee shop. They’re still the best places to meet new inspiring people in New York. 

Aspirations: I feel very lucky and honored to have almost become what I have wanted to be since I was sixteen. I would love to continue working between Paris and New York with small, dynamic brands and private cultural institutions. They are curious, open minded, and enable me to have precious creative freedom to develop ideas and projects. I’d also love to travel internationally with projects and meet new worldwide talents. That’s my dream: discovering the world through my job.

Philosophy: Nobody knows what you want except for you. Nobody will be as sorry as you if you don’t get it, so work hard for people you admire. And stay modest because design won’t save the world.
