“In Chinese culture, luò hóng, or “seeing virgin blood,” represents female chastity and the value recognition of a woman to her potential husband. Using symbolism and exaggerated stage manifestations, I re-created a moment of blood lust and a scene of people seeing luò hóng on a wedding night.”
