Staff: My Reps at Deddens +  Deddens, and a wonderful group of freelance assistants and producers.

Education: Seattle Pacific University, Brooks Institute of Photography, lots of books, a couple of extended wilderness trips and a few years of grinding in LA.

Cultural Influences: Terrence Malick, Andrei Tarkovsky, C.S. Lewis, Johnny Cash, Spaghetti Westerns, J.R.R. Tolkien. I’m influenced by certain places that help to build stories and images in my mind. Specifically, Owens Valley in California, Scandinavia and my hometown of Seattle.

Environment: Out on the open road exploring, in the city executing and surrounded by the most loyal, creative and encouraging friends a guy could hope for.

Philosophy: Trust my instincts and creative voice, and keep it simple, positive and joyful.
