“One of two TV commercials to promote Old Navy's cords to the back-to-school crowd. The spots leveraged the all-American brand look and feel, with a quirky twist, to make them a bit more relevant and fun to our teenage target.” "Cord Farm" :30(Open on what appears to be a beautiful berry field at sunrise. A sign reads, “Pick Your Own Cords.” There are wild colors in the field, which is growing something other than berries. Cut to the farm entrance where a convertible full of young women pull up the dirt road. They hop out and gleefully head into the field, spreading out among the rows, carrying big empty baskets under their arms. Cut to a close-up of hands picking one of the cords. It’s rolled up and shaped like a cabbage. The girl pops up and excitedly unrolls a pair of red cords) Girl: Hey guys, look at these!(Another girl, a few rows over yells back)Girl 2: Yeah, look at these!(Cut to another girl bent over picking some cords. Her basket is full. Another girl with an empty basket passes and quickly swaps baskets with her. Cut to a farmer, proudly holding a sample of his crop)Farmer: While they last, fresh fall cords $25.50, from Old Navy.(Cut to one girl who can’t wait to get her cords home and buttons up a really cute pair. She runs out from behind a tractor to join the others. Cut to girls driving off. Old Navy logo appears)
