“For a couple of years, I crashed weddings every weekend that I was in Nigeria. This is one of my favorite images from the project because this guy looks like anyone’s cousin getting down at a wedding. When I originally conceived of this project, I thought it would be about class differences and distinct traditions, but as I worked on it, it became clear that it was really about the things we have in common.”
