Environment: Lately my world is equally divided between Seat 3A on any international flight, various casting studios, production companies, locations and in front of a computer writing treatments...the rest of the time is spent in my head or someone else’s.
Philosophy: The idea is my wife and ultimately I am committed, faithful and dedicated to having the best relationship possible, so that we can have a fruitful life together. However, I’ve been obsessed with many mistresses: casting, editing, color palette, art direction, production design and camerawork. I am enamored with all of them, but I would give any of them up in a second if they got in the way of my relationship with my wife—she is everything to me. Other thoughts: Treatment writing is like giving birth to a brick. I have painstakingly given birth to over 50 of them in the last year and a half and am proud of each and every one. I’m most proud of the ones I see running about, but I’m still proud of the ones I had to give up for adoption and the ones that passed on.
