“Macao Design Week 2021 focuses on displaying excellent local and foreign commercial design works and guides audiences to understand how the culture and story of a commercial brand is visualized and reflected by different perspectives. The source of inspiration for the main visual design is the ‘night’ of Macao. Because of the city’s main economic development in tourism and the gambling industry, Macao’s multicolored neon lights keep changing colors in the dark; similarly, in recent years, the rapidly developing power of local design has constantly bloomed with its own light and energy. With 26 independently created English letters, our design reconstructs the primary vision of graphic design with a surreal technique, thus conveying that design is from life and integrated into life and showing the potential and infinite explosiveness Macao’s design culture has in its future.”
