From products to places, brands worm their way into the human psyche—and, like it or not, they’re here to stay. For the London Design Museum’s 2015 festival, design firm Lippincott created the exhibition Like me: Our bond with brands to examine humanity’s relationships with corporate brands. Featuring whimsical design installations, such as topiaries of recognizable icons and portraits constructed from numerous brand identities, the exhibition showcases both the ubiquitous nature of brands in our society as well as the roles that consumers play in their creation. Lippincott’s exhibit garnered more than 4,500 visitors to the physical installation and more than 6,500 visitors to its online component.
