Jules Verne was first edited by Hetzel with consistent inventivity, using the aesthetics of the industrial era. The association Hetzel-Jules Verne is a foremost symbol of the modifications of the society towed by industrialization. It appears as an inseparable association. The result is a collage of yellowish paper, vintage typography and encyclopedia clipping. 4 1/2 x 8.
