Duration: I’ve worked as a commercial photographer for three years.

Staff: I have a first assistant, and four assistants who are on call—depending on the job.

Education: I graduated with honors from Art Center College of Design in 2006. As a student I won the APA best of show award and a PDN award.

Cultural Influences: I spent a great deal of my childhood in Mexico, in amazing light, where I was a quiet observer of people. When I discovered photography, I started by referencing memories of my time in Mexico and i continue to refer back to it.

Environment: I believe that the person I’m photographing should be put at ease, so my goal is to earn their trust. i love images that result from the collaboration with art directors. And, I'm fortunate to have an amazing, proficient staff and a very relaxed working environment (music usually is playing on set).

Philosophy: My philosophy is to be engaging and honest. I never shy away from feedback and different ways of doing things. I love cultivating relationships and recognizing the talents of others and putting them to good use. At the end of the day, my goal is for everyone to feel a part of something and to be proud of the images that were created.
