“This is the first book in the Unseen Walking Guide series,” said Briar Levit. “I challenged the clichés of the average hiking guide that does little to truly reflect its locations. In designing Inside the Brambles, I wanted to express the beauty of these ‘weeds’ by subtly blanketing the pages of the book with them. Without ‘giving it all away’ before the reader sets foot on the trail, I hint at the unsung flora, allowing it to interact with the type.
