“This was created for a gallery night at the & Other Stories flagship store in Stockholm. I was interpreting different looks from the catwalks for the spring/summer 2017 season, which was so much about the heavy bangs. They were everywhere, from Versace to Proenza Schouler and Rodarte to Dries Van Noten. Here, I matched the fluid portrait with bold shapes cut out of paper. I love to add colored paper to my watercolor and ink drawings. It adds playfulness and edge to the final work.”
