Staff: We are two creative directors, Yah-Leng Yu and Arthur Chin (shown above), plus an art director, three designers and interns.

Education: BFA in graphic design from the Art Institute of Boston.

Cultural Influences: We lived in different parts of the world before moving back to our home country. We are glad and fortunate that we have lived in an assortment of cultures and landscapes, especially New York, where we lived for many years. The experience led us to approach and engage our design problem-solving from a slightly different angle based on context.

Environment: Our studio is housed on the ground floor of a pre-war building located on one of the oldest estates in Singapore, Tiong Bahru. All the flats here are four- to five-story walk-ups built in the 1930s in the art deco style, which are rare now in the city-state. Small cafés and interesting independent creative stores are hallmarks of this neighborhood.
