“For a story in a Korean literature textbook. A boy who believes in his natural talent is frustrated to learn that he won an award with a painting mistakenly listed as his, but actually painted by a girl from a wealthy family. As a result, he becomes an artist who constantly doubts his talents and keeps trying to improve his work. I wanted to capture the moment when the subtle atmosphere and the shame, frustration and indifference between the boy and the girl intersect. That moment, forever imprinted inside the boy, is expressed in a close-up look and a corridor that continues as if it never ends.”
