"Dave lived in the cabin that we pictured in an ad campaign. It turned out that he was one of the original founding members of Microsoft and having sold his options, he decided to read, help out with the Boy Scouts of America and retire. I could not move on without spending time making pictures of him. He reminds me of Boo Radley from To Kill a Mockingbird, in that initially he seems unaware of his presence in the world, but stays quiet in the moment."
