"The Cleveland Clinic wanted to tell the story of how all their employees are caregivers; how every individual, in every job of the hospital is focused on their patients, and their patients' health, comfort, and feelings. Images were shot documentary-style throughout dozens of scenarios around the hospital, over the course of two assignments. Initially for the Cleveland Clinic brand book, produced in 2010 and distributed to all 36,000+ employees, and the following year for their 2010 Annual Report. The additional purpose of both assignments was to help the hospital build a large image library that they could use for a variety of purposes. In these photos: A critical care transport employee shuttles a patient to the emergency room via helicopter and a member of the kitchen staff takes a short break after a long day."
