“This was our first time working with Cardi B. We wanted to create a story that was opulent yet still unique, like Cardi B herself. In speaking with her stylist Kollin, we came up with the set design and direction. On set, we wanted the light to be fairly simple. Because the set was quite large, we struggled to find that right balance. But after a while, we locked it in and the rest was history.”
