“Cover art I created for the Cancer Research Institute’s 60-year retrospective book. The CRI is the world’s only nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to immunotherapy, a scientific breakthrough that harnesses the body’s natural ability to destroy cancer cells. This was an extremely important cover for the client and a very complex piece to work on; it has more than 50 individual ink block layers. It was also personally important for me as a melanoma survivor.”
