Duration: I started my own studio five years ago.
Staff: As an illustrator, it's just me.
Education: I studied illustration and visual arts, and have a degree in graphic design from the University of Buenos Aires.
Cultural influences: Kids books illustrated by Paul Rand, the room at MoMA where the Klimts are, my mom's fashion pen drawings, old toys and some new toys, vintage movie posters and package design, Las ruinas circulares by Borges, Bauhaus, Saul Bass's opening titles, The Pink Panther, handlettering, old type catalogs, jazz from the fifties and Cat Power, and many contemporary illustrators and artists.
Environment: A place full of pencils and brushes, pictures, postcards and posters on the light-blue walls, a library organized by color, music always on and a big window overlooking trees, gardens and my infinite number of cacti.
Philosophy: Every single line counts.
North Carolina-based Get A Clue Design Studio took a leap of faith—twisted ankles be damned.
