"Amor Da Terra is a Brazilian jewelry company that is launching in the United States. The jewelry is made from objects found in nature— thus the name, Amor Da Terra. The jewelry has a very primitive, tribal aesthetic to it, and I wanted that tribal-made-from-nature feeling to inspire the imagery. So, we painted the models using assorted colors of mud, earth if you will. I used the fantastic body decorations of Ethiopian tribes as inspiration. We then dressed them in bits and pieces of objects found in nature, i.e., corsets made of coral and grass. I had a fantastic team of artists working with me to create these images. I couldn't have done it without any of them."
