“Airbnb was commissioning a series of posters of San Francisco to inform and inspire the way it thinks about travel destinations, and I was assigned to illustrate Muir Woods. Airbnb wanted to celebrate the quirky, human, intimate, vast, imperfect and dreamlike qualities a place could have. The illustrated posters were supposed to be a contemporary update of classic destination posters used by airlines and travel agencies.”
